Bespoke furniture, jewelry, sculpture, and objets d’art

I create custom objects in wood and metal using techniques of fine woodworking, marquetry, and jewelry fabrication. Each piece is thoughtfully designed to be uniquely yours and fit your unique needs and wants.

Bruce D. Wright, PhD

I am a retired engineer with degrees in Horticulture and Agricultural Engineering who spent his 30 year career at Marshall Space Flight Center and Johnson Space Center building spaceships. I am not one to stay in my lane and find everything more interesting when you cross boundaries and try putting things together in new ways.

I taught myself woodworking over many years starting with large backyard projects such as tree houses and pergolas and gradually worked my way into fine furniture and marquetry. I learn by reading, watching, doing, and experimenting. There is so much more to learn everyday. This is what keeps life so interesting.

I have been learning now jewelry fabrication and gemstone shaping and polishing. These are exciting new elements to add to my woodworking and marquetry. I have so many ideas, and look forward to bringing them to you.
